Ordered on a Saturday, it was engraved and in the mail by Monday afternoon. Ordering and personalizing was really easy on the website. This item was ordered as a gift, so I can't comment on how well the pen writes.

I ordered the bamboo for men, cherry for women and the maple/rosewood for my wife. I had box engraved with their name, a short phrase pertinent to each individual and a bible verse reference significant for each as well. Very pleased to find such a great value in a gift I hope will be very memorable.
