I have ordered pen sets numerous times from Executive Gift Shoppe. They have all arrived beautifully packaged, and engraved with detail and finesse. It is a gift that is lovely to look at, a pen (or pen set) that feels great, and also gives you a chance to express your sentiments in beautifully engraved lettering.

This was a great retirement gift. They’re more of a keepsake item and not something I use on a regular basis. The set is very pretty, though. As far as pens go they deliver a smooth enough glide but could be too thick to handle for smaller hands.

Originally, I was sent a box that I wasn't happy with and I reached out to their customer service. They responded very quickly and sent me a replacement box! The second box turned out exactly like I had imagined it (like the picture), and it was an incredibly quick turn around.

I can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I am in the service I received. Or let's say, the service I DIDN'T RECEIVE. I called this company SEVERAL times and left my name and number with its "answering service." Yet, I never received a call back. Nor did anyone leave a message on my phone. I was actually trying to fix a minor error with my order. Had someone returned my call, this could have been quickly resolved. Then to add insult to injury, the lovely message I crafted for my father was NOT included with the product. So, when he received the gift, I was told he was asking people: "Who sent me this? Do you know who sent me these pens?" Are you kidding me? Is this amateur hour or something? I understand mistakes can happen. No one is perfect. But to not even call the customer back? Someone who had a PENDING order? A mess! So there you have it. You wanted my review? You got it. I rarely write negative reviews. And I don't write this one to try to tank your business either. But I just wanted you to know how I felt, as a customer. It's not the end of the world. Thank you for letting me vent.

Nicely done! I was very impressed with the details of the engravement & encasement!!

The pens and engraving are nice but the box is more of a painted cherry red rather than the same cherry wood finish that the pens have. The picture and description of “matching wood” is quite misleading in this regard. The red paint/stain is visible on the hardware of the box as well. It is fine, but if you’re looking for something nicer with real matching wood you should buy elsewhere.

Personalization was fast, accurate, and lovely! I expected the pens to have a bit more weight to them, but overall they were fantastic.

I will say that the quality is what you would expect for the price. The stain is a little thick and artificial looking, but it is nicely engraved. I would have given 4 stars, but the customer service killed it in the end. To me, service can add a multitude of flaws. I received my pen set, and either their fault or mine, the first name was spelled wrong on the box. I do believe it was my error in filling out from online. I called to request a new box. After calling from early morning until early evening, leaving 3 messages, I finally reached a very polite person who said they would ship a new box, free of charge minus shipping. I paid for 3 day as I needed it for a doctorate graduation. I received a notice of shipment, 4 days. Didn't have it for the event. I was guaranteed it would arrive. When I called to request my shipping be refunded I was unable again to reach a person so I left a message (12/19/19) and have heard nothing (12/24/19). I don't care if they are a online company, customer service matters!

I also didn't like the way the pens rattled around inside the box. So I bought some red felt and using double sided tape I lined the inside of the trough, It worked out great and it appears a little higher end,

I purchased this pen for a mentor/friend. The quality of the case and pens looks much more expensive than the price tag. I was able to engrave a meaningful quote on the case and her name on the pen. Highly recommend.
